Job summary

Technologent, Inc. is seeking an IT Security Pre-Sales Engineer in Dallas, TX to help customers identify cybersecurity needs and shape scalable solutions.

You will partner with the sales team to connect security requirements with technology and services, leading discovery, architecture discussions, and workshops. The role requires 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering or related customer-facing roles, with strong presentation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in cybersecurity engineering, security architecture, or technical pre-sales
• Ability to translate business risks and requirements into security solutions
• Familiarity with frameworks like NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted cybersecurity advisor alongside Account Executives
• Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and architecture discussions with stakeholders
• Present, demonstrate, and respond to RFP/RFI with technical and business value
• Support PoC/PoV activities and guide opportunities from qualification to closure
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure feasible, implementable solutions
