Technologent seeks an IT Security Pre-Sales Engineer in Nashville to help customers identify cybersecurity needs and shape scalable solutions. This role partners with the sales organization to connect security requirements, business priorities, and risk management with technology and services.

Working with Account Executives, technical and delivery teams, and security partners, the engineer leads discovery, develops solution architectures, presents recommendations, and supports opportunities

Formación

• Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise technology sales and working with Account Executives and customers.
• Broad knowledge of enterprise cybersecurity architecture, technologies, and operational practices across multiple security domains.
• Strong understanding of SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, IAM, PAM, Zero Trust, network, cloud security, and data protection.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a trusted cybersecurity advisor and partner with Account Executives to identify customer initiatives, technical requirements, business risks, and security opportunities.
• Lead customer discovery, assessments, workshops, and architecture discussions; translate business, security, and regulatory needs into solution recommendations.
• Engage stakeholders from security engineering and architecture through IT leadership and executive teams; communicate technical concepts and business value clearly.
• Support opportunity strategy and qualification, technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, RFP/RFI responses, security questionnaires, and customer objections.
• Support Proof-of-Concept and Proof-of-Value activities, technical validation, and competitive sales situations; communicate opportunity status, risks, dependencies, and next steps to the sales team.
• Design practical, scalable security architectures across SIEM/SOAR, EDR/XDR, IAM/PAM, Zero Trust, cloud, data protection, and network security.
