Job summary

Charles IT is seeking a highly qualified Virtual Client Information Officer (vCIO) to guide strategic IT consulting for assigned clients. You will serve as the primary liaison, align technology with business goals, and oversee IT roadmaps.

You will communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, mentor teams, manage budgets, and ensure security, scalability, and regulatory compliance across client environments. Extensive MSP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT consulting or technical leadership, preferably in MSP.
• Experience with strategic IT planning, budgeting, and C-suite engagement.
• Strong business acumen and ability to align technology with business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic advisor, aligning client technology with business goals.
• Deliver executive-level insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure client environments are secure, scalable, and optimized for growth.
• Develop IT roadmaps, lead business reviews, manage budgets, and ensure compliance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as primary contact and escalation.
• Mentor internal teams and foster cross-department collaboration.
• Identify gaps and partner with technical teams to scope initiatives.
• Ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
