Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years in IT infrastructure or service management with focus on performance analysis and capacity planning.
• Demonstrated capacity management knowledge with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with architecture, operations, and business functions.
• Candidates must have a current secret security clearance or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain an ITIL-based capacity management framework spanning business, service, and component capacity views.
• Collect and analyze utilization and performance metrics from monitoring tools for servers, virtual infrastructure, storage, databases, and networks.
• Build capacity forecasts and what-if models to recommend scaling strategies and efficiency improvements.
• Produce regular capacity and performance reports and dashboards for leadership and service owners.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and operations to incorporate capacity considerations into solution designs and release planning.
• Identify and lead capacity optimization initiatives such as rightsizing, consolidation, virtualization, and cloud elasticity.
• Integrate capacity management with incident, problem, and change processes for long-term remediation.
