Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a Capacity Manager to establish ITIL-aligned capacity management across enterprise infrastructure and mission-critical systems in a regulated federal environment.

You will monitor performance and utilization across compute, storage, network, and applications, build forecasts, and produce reports to inform budgeting and planning. Collaboration with architecture, operations, and service owners is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT.
• 3–5 years in IT infrastructure or service management with capacity planning focus.
• Knowledge of capacity management with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with architecture, operations, and service owners.
• Must have current secret security clearance or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain an ITIL-based capacity management framework.
• Collect and analyze utilization and performance metrics across servers, storage, networks.
• Build capacity forecasts and what-if models for scaling decisions.
• Produce regular capacity and performance reports for leadership.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and operations on release planning.
• Lead capacity optimization initiatives like rightsizing and virtualization.
• Integrate capacity with incident, problem, and change processes.
