Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a Capacity Manager to design and operate ITIL-aligned capacity management processes across enterprise infrastructure and mission-critical systems in a highly regulated federal IT environment.

You will monitor resource usage, build forecasts, and deliver dashboards for leaders, while collaborating with architecture, operations, and service owners to balance performance, risk, and cost. A current secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years in IT infrastructure or service management with performance analysis.
• Experience in capacity management with analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with architecture, operations and business teams.
• Must have current secret security clearance or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain ITIL-based capacity management framework across views.
• Collect and analyze utilization and performance metrics from servers, storage, networks.
• Build capacity forecasts and what-if models to recommend scaling or upgrades.
• Produce capacity and performance reports and dashboards for leadership.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and operations in regulated government environment.
• Identify and lead capacity optimization initiatives such as rightsizing, virtualization, cloud elasticity.
• Integrate capacity management with incident, problem, and change processes.
