Job summary

Cadence is seeking a seasoned sales leader to build, manage and close licensing opportunities for Design IP in North America from San Jose, CA. You will drive market penetration, work with cross-functional teams, and negotiate multi-million license deals with startups to large enterprises.

You will partner with engineering and marketing to position Cadence IP, manage contracts, and deliver revenue targets in the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in licensing of Semiconductor IP technology.
• Strong background in Design IP, memory interfaces, protocol, and connectivity IP.
• Experience selling to startups and large enterprises with large license deals (>$1M).

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a sales pipeline for Design IP in NorAm regions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Applications, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and executives to meet revenue targets.
• Negotiate and close complex licensing deals and drive market penetration.
