Donegal Insurance Group is seeking a Business Relationship Manager for Tennessee. You will join the Marketing team to grow quote activity, written premium, and retention through independent agencies, while maintaining profitability.

The role requires 5+ years in property and casualty insurance and a proven ability to manage agency relationships, train partners, and drive new commercial opportunities. Expect a competitive base pay and discretionary incentives based on performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing or business administration.
• 5+ years of property and casualty insurance experience.
• Knowledge of the independent agency system, Commercial, & Personal lines of insurance.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and appoint agents to build a strong distribution channel.
• Provide training to agencies on programs and services to help achieve goals.
• Communicate company goals, products, rules, rates, and incentives to agents for a profitable book.
• Provide personalized attention on sales calls to optimize position with agencies.
• Direct agents to use WritePro and WriteBiz and generate personal lines quote activity.
• Provide Commercial quotes to assist agents and generate new opportunities.
• Develop Agency Plans with financial objectives and review progress regularly.
• Analyze agency profitability and implement action plans to meet goals with underwriting support.
• Conduct agency reviews with underwriting to ensure performance against goals.
