Job summary

SafePoint Insurance Company seeks an Agency Relations Manager to build and maintain agency relationships across Tennessee. This home-based role requires commuting 50–70 miles within the territory and developing a profitable region through strategic agency management and market expansion.

The ideal candidate will combine strong communication with a persistent, professional demeanor and the ability to influence agency growth while collaborating on product and pricing decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
• 3–5 years of account management and customer service experience.
• In-depth Property & Casualty insurance knowledge across lines.
• Strong understanding of Personal and Commercial Lines underwriting guidelines.
• Valid resident Property & Casualty and/or Excess & Surplus licensure, and reciprocal licensure where applicable.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Scouts and identifies potential agencies for specific insurance programs.
• Identifies agencies interests and growth potential and motivates agents.
• Implements systematic marketing processes to attract and retain new business.
• Designs strategies for marketing and sales of insurance contracts.
• Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products.
• Builds best practices regarding Agency Operations and follow-up with plans.
• Adjusts sales approach to differ between small and large agencies.
• Influences sale of Safepoint products through agency distribution.
• Articulates a solution-oriented sales process aligned to agency needs.
• Maintains high level of follow-up with agents and team members.
• Develops business solutions to achieve territory objectives.
• Stays current on product and pricing changes and expands marketplace presence.
