Job summary

Element-Risk is seeking an Insurance Advisor to develop and manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients. The role focuses on analyzing client needs, evaluating options, and offering tailored Property & Casualty solutions while nurturing relationships and promoting agency offerings.

The Advisor will schedule fact-finding, develop risk management plans, quote rates, and collaborate with carriers to secure optimal coverage. Strong communication and market knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate's degree or equivalent.
• Licensed Property & Casualty insurance producer or ability to obtain license.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Determine customers' needs and exposure levels through fact-finding and data review.
• Develop and quote insurance or risk management plans for immediate coverage.
• Identify insurance prospects and markets to place coverage.
• Market, service, and promote the Agency's products and services.
• Serve existing customers: assess needs, answer coverage questions, propose suitable products.
• Assist with renewals, explain policy features, and advise on options.
• Maintain knowledge of the marketplace and build relationships with carriers and underwriters.
• Prepare submissions and negotiate pricing and terms with carriers.
