Job summary

Element Risk Management is seeking an Advisor to develop and manage a book of business, service insurance customers, analyze needs, evaluate options, and tailor solutions. The role emphasizes identifying prospects and nurturing relationships to promote agency offerings, with a primary focus on commercial Property and Casualty.

The Advisor will schedule fact-finding, assess current coverage, develop risk management plans, and coordinate carrier submissions and pricing.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Possess or pass the requirement to be a licensed Property & Casualty insurance producer.
• Continuing Education/Training as required by applicable statutes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Determine customers’ needs and exposures by fact-finding, assess present coverages, and identify gaps.
• Develop an insurance/risk management plan, calculate and quote rates for coverage.
• Identify and develop insurance prospects and appropriate markets.
• Market, service and promote the Agency’s products and services and build client relationships.
• Service existing customers: analyze needs, answer coverage questions, and identify additional coverage needs.
• Assist policyholders through renewals with market knowledge and educate on policy features.
