Job summary

Element-Risk is seeking an Advisor to develop and manage a book of business, servicing insurance customers by analyzing their needs and offering tailored solutions. The primary focus is commercial Property & Casualty, with responsibilities to identify new prospects and nurture client relationships while promoting the agency.

The Advisor will determine clients’ risks, schedule fact-finding, evaluate existing coverage, and quote rates for immediate action.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Possess or pass the requirement to be a licensed Property & Casualty insurance producer.
• Continuing Education/Training as required by applicable statutes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a book of business and service insurance customers by analyzing needs and offering tailored solutions.
• Identify new insurance prospects and nurture existing relationships; promote the agency.
• Determine customers’ needs and exposures, schedule fact-finding, identify gaps, and evaluate documents to assess risk.
• Develop a coordinated insurance/risk management plan, quote rates, and implement coverage actions.
• Market, service, and promote the Agency’s products and work to retain customers.
• Assist policyholders through renewals with strong communication and market knowledge; educate on features.
• Maintain knowledge of marketplace and build relations with carriers and underwriters.
• Prepare submissions, negotiate pricing and terms with carriers; manage quotes and bind coverage.
• Meet revenue standards and quotas.
