Job summary

Relation Insurance Inc. seeks an Account Manager in the Small Business Unit to manage client relationships, advise on coverage and risk management, and align insurance programs with client goals. You will act as the primary contact, support renewals, and collaborate with carriers to bind coverage.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in insurance account management, a P&C license, and strong communication and analytical skills. Some locations prefer bilingual Spanish/English; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years account management experience in the insurance industry focused on personal lines.
• Property and Casualty license from state of domicile and maintained; insurance designations (AINS, CIC, CPCU, ARM) preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus or required in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main client contact, advising on coverage changes and policy requirements.
• Develop strategic insurance plans tailored to client needs.
• Act as field underwriter and carrier representative to bind coverage as appropriate.
• Manage renewals and proposals, including loss evaluations and risk analyses.
• Prepare binders, certificates, policies, endorsements and related documents.
• Assist clients with claims submissions and expedite carrier responses.
• Review renewals/audits for accuracy and address discrepancies with clients.
• Retain client accounts by handling cancellations and maintaining financial integrity.
• Stay informed on industry developments and new products; identify process improvements.
• Incorporate AI solutions into service processes to enhance client experience.
