Job summary

Cameron Ashley Building Products Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to drive sales growth across our core product categories in a defined geographic area.

You will engage with new and existing customers, make outbound calls, handle orders, and prepare quotes to expand our market footprint. The role emphasizes industry knowledge, competitive market awareness, and becoming a trusted advisor to customers.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of sales experience with outbound calls/cold calling.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Up to 10% travel and valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass drug test and background checks.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engages with new, existing, and potential customers to build relationships.
• Hunts for new business and makes outbound sales including cold calls.
• Sell Core 4 Product Categories – Insulation, Roofing, Gypsum, and Siding.
• Develops growth strategies to manage customer accounts and grow market share.
• Prepare and submit weekly sales reports.
