Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC. is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to join a 12-person team and become an expert in clients’ business to boost sales.

You’ll handle quotes, proposals, and account management for customers in the petrochemical, defense, aerospace, and industrial equipment sectors. The role offers excellent training, growth opportunities, and a collaborative culture with limited travel (quarterly).

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical, Materials or Industrial Engineering and a solid track record of customer-facing work experience.
• 2+ years in a technically oriented role, preferably casting, machining, metal or materials process operation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interface with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Develop quotes and generate proposals for customer needs.
• Be an account manager to increase sales and serve client needs.
• Collaborate with field and territory sales to grow the business; 75% existing clients, 20% upsell, 5% new business development.
• Manage projects through the sales cycle and coordinate with various departments.
• Limited travel, about once per quarter on average.
