Job summary

Paycom seeks a customer-oriented service representative to provide customer support, quote and order management, and issue resolution with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. You will engage with customers and outside sales to maintain high satisfaction while handling pricing and reporting tasks.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities within a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in customer support and ERP/CRM systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• College education recommended but not required.
• 2-4 years in proven customer support and order management experience.
• Supply chain management, forecasting, stocking program experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• MS Office proficiency (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to use CRM/ERP systems and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage administrative tasks including incoming calls, order processing, inquiries, issues, filing, and database information.
• Quote preparation, expediting orders, information and sales reporting.
• Identify customer needs to achieve satisfaction and build trust with customers and outside reps.
• Provide accurate information using the correct tools and techniques and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Pricing administration: price book data entry, monitoring, and updates; reporting.
• Manage customer supply chain management, stocking requirements, and forecasting reviews.
• Assist Engineering to maintain current drawing specifications and item descriptions.
• Document customer interactions and maintain CRM records; pursue proactive outreach and upsell opportunities.
