Job summary

Wurth Industry North America is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in Roanoke, VA to act as the first line of contact for assigned customer accounts. You will support the end-to-end sales cycle, including expediting, quoting, and quality assurance through effective data analysis and CRM management.

The role requires 3–5 years of inside sales or customer service experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to read customer orders and drawings. SAP experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED accepted.
• 3–5 years of customer service/inside sales or related experience.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• SAP skills are advantageous.
• Ability to read and analyze customer purchase orders, drawings and vendor materials.

Responsibilities

• Meet established KPI’s and represent the company professionally.
• Support account retention through customer service and order fulfillment troubleshooting.
• Handle data entry, quotes, record management, and CRM data via defined processes.
• Manage master customer data including pricing, shipping terms and contact information.
• Proactively drive account management and advance sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues.
• Support VMI program efficiency and profitability improvements.
• Prepare continuous improvement reviews for customers and use reporting tools.
• Manage demand, quotes, and corrective actions via customer portals.
