Job summary

Wurth Industry US in Roanoke, VA seeks a Senior Operations Leader to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive customer service excellence. You will lead Inside Sales, Sourcing, Purchasing, Engineering and others to meet plans and KPI targets, while mentoring staff and managing performance, budgets, and processes.

You will implement training, workforce planning, and collaborate across departments to resolve issues using SAP and CPS, support Outside Sales, and ensure profitability through

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years customer service or related experience.
• Intermediate to Advanced experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
• SAP skills are advantageous.
• Strong critical thinking and data analysis abilities.
• Ability to read and analyze customer PO, drawings, and vendor material.
• Cross-functional collaboration to reach goals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead cross-departmental functions to provide best-in-class service to assigned customers.
• Achieve and/or exceed company plans and departmental KPI goals.
• Manage and direct work of functional team including hiring, performance appraisals and budget processes.
• Mentor and motivate a large team and maintain a productive work environment.
• Implement training programs including onboarding for new staff.
• Workforce planning, staffing and labor relations to meet operational requirements.
• Collaborate with team to resolve customer issues using SAP and CPS.
• Support Outside Sales on quotes and new opportunities.
• Participate in Internal & External RAILs and prepare Wurth Business Reviews.
• Control margining to meet profitability objectives.
• Coordinate projects and oversee ECN process.
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction and mentor on OR topics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
