Job summary

AWC, Inc. is seeking an Inside Account Manager in Savannah, GA to manage daily customer relationships and grow the business alongside Outside Account Managers.

You will assist in RFQ/PO handling, manage customer requirements, and forecast sales while supporting project teams across manufacturing industries. The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work with engineering and operations to improve margins and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 4-year bachelor’s degree / 2-year technical degree (engineering preferred).
• 2-5 years of industry experience.
• Base knowledge of Electrical and Automation products, including PLCs, IOs, Safety Devices, Enclosures, Motor Starters, VFDs, Pneumatics, Sensors, Panelboards.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop, and retain customers to support a high-performing sales team and ensure account succession.
• Acknowledge & process RFQs and Purchase Orders.
• Establish and manage customer requirements, including follow-ups and expediting POS.
• Direct sales forecasting, analyze account data, promote sales.
• Coordinate with Outside Account Managers and Project Managers on profit, inventory, and pricing for key accounts.
• Review processes to ensure quality standards are followed and suggest improvements.
• Find creative options to close orders at higher margins.
• Provide inside technical knowledge and conversion support for the Technical Account Manager.
