Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Strategic Initiatives Lead to advance the Medicare Technology strategy and operating model. You will work across technology teams and lines of business within Aetna, coordinating with Product, Engineering, Procurement, Security, Finance, Legal, and stakeholders to drive scalable initiatives.

The role requires strong cross-functional leadership, vendor management, and a track record in healthcare IT transformation.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in healthcare IT, strategic planning, or digital transformation.
Strong understanding of healthcare systems, technology platforms, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH).
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex initiatives.
Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Continuously improve the Medicare Technology operating model with governance, processes, and metrics.
Own Medicare Technology vendor operations including onboarding, performance, and risk management.
Partner with AI Enablement to manage portfolio and use-case lifecycle.
Oversee operating and capital expense planning with Finance and initiative owners.
Lead horizontal initiatives across Medicare Technology and align vendor evaluation models.
Collaborate with Ventures and Procurement to streamline onboarding of new vendors.
Act as strategic advisor to Medicare Technology leadership with data-driven insights.
