Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects in Houston, TX is seeking a senior risk management professional to build and implement project and portfolio-level risk frameworks, governance, and strategies to ensure successful delivery.

You will lead risk identification, quantitative analyses (including Monte Carlo), maintain risk registers in Primavera Cloud, and collaborate with PMs, engineers, and stakeholders to drive proactive risk ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Risk Management, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in project controls, risk management, or capital project delivery, preferably within pharmaceutical or industrial sectors.
• Bonus points for proficiency in Monte Carlo analysis tools (e.g., Acumen, @Risk, Safran, PRA) and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project and portfolio-level risk management frameworks, strategies, and governance processes.
• Facilitate risk identification, assessment, and mitigation workshops across all project phases.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative risk analyses, including Monte Carlo simulations, to evaluate cost, schedule, and performance.
• Support teams in developing and executing Risk Management Plans and mitigation strategies.
• Maintain risk registers within Oracle Primavera Cloud (12C) with accurate data and timely updates.
• Lead or support Independent Project Reviews, Health Checks, Gate Reviews, and capital funding submissions.
