Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a senior risk and project controls leader to shape risk management for large capital programs. You will develop governance frameworks, run risk workshops, and conduct Monte Carlo analyses to forecast cost and schedule impacts.

You’ll maintain risk registers, prepare executive dashboards, and support independent project reviews. The role requires 8+ years in project controls/risk management, proficiency with Acumen/@Risk/Safran/PRA, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Risk Management, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in project controls, risk management, or capital project delivery in pharma/industrial sectors.
• Proficiency in Monte Carlo analysis tools (Acumen/@Risk/Safran/PRA), 12C and project management software.
• Strong understanding of lifecycle risk processes, cost/schedule integration, and PMF.
• Excellent facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Collaborative, proactive, adaptable, able to lead under uncertainty.

• You’ll develop and implement project and portfolio-level risk management frameworks, strategies, and governance processes to support successful project delivery.
• You’ll facilitate risk identification, assessment, and mitigation workshops throughout all project phases to proactively manage project uncertainties.
• You’ll perform qualitative and quantitative risk analyses, including Monte Carlo simulations, to evaluate potential impacts on cost, schedule, and performance.
• You’ll support project teams in developing, maintaining, and executing Risk Management Plans, Risk Response Plans, and mitigation strategies.
• You’ll maintain risk registers within enterprise systems such as Oracle Primavera Cloud (12C), ensuring data accuracy, traceability, and timely updates.
• You’ll evaluate, monitor, and report on key risks, mitigation actions, and residual impacts affecting project cost, schedule, quality, and overall performance.
• You’ll lead or support project assurance activities, including Independent Project Reviews (IPRs), Health Checks, Gate Reviews, and capital funding submissions.
• You’ll partner with Project Managers, Engineering Leads, Project Controls teams, contractors, and stakeholders to embed risk management into project execution plans and decision-making processes.
• You’ll provide training, mentoring, and guidance that strengthens risk awareness, compliance, accountability, and proactive risk ownership across project teams.
• You’ll prepare executive-level risk dashboards, identify portfolio-wide trends and systemic risks, and drive continuous improvement through lessons learned, best practices, and enhanced forecasting methodologies
• Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.

• Excellent facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly.Capability to interpret data, forecast risk impacts, and develop actionable insights
• Collaborative, proactive, adaptable, and able to lead under uncertainty while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
