Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and governance of large capital programs from initiation to closeout. You will oversee project controls, schedules, forecasting, and reporting while collaborating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to optimize delivery and readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in project management, project controls, PMO, commissioning, program management, or capital project delivery.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders across technical, operational, and business functions.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, capital project delivery processes, and project lifecycle governance.
• Experience with project controls: scheduling, cost management, forecasting, risk management, and change control.
• Experience supporting commissioning, startup, system turnover, or project closeout activities.
• Experience implementing or utilizing PMIS platforms; familiarity with digital project delivery, data analytics, workflow automation, and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced project environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, governance, and delivery of complex capital projects from initiation through closeout.
• Manage project controls across cost, schedule, forecasting, estimating, progress measurement, risk management, and change control.
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, execution plans, performance metrics, forecasts, and dashboards.
• Facilitate governance meetings, executive reviews, stakeholder workshops, and communications for alignment.
• Prepare and deliver executive-level reports, presentations, and performance updates on status, risks, and decisions.
• Partner with engineering, procurement, construction, operations, quality, and contractor teams to optimize performance.
• Support commissioning, startup, turnover, and operational readiness activities.
• Identify risks, issues, and opportunities; develop mitigation strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Leverage PMIS platforms, digital delivery tools, data analytics, workflow automation, and AI-enabled solutions to enhance execution and forecasting.
