Job summary

GenScript USA Inc. in Piscataway, NJ is seeking a Specialist – Procurement/Purchasing to manage end-to-end source-to-pay and procure-to-pay cycles for CAPEX, MRO, and services.

This full-time role reports to the Senior Procurement Manager and requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2–5 years of indirect procurement experience. The position emphasizes strong negotiation, vendor management, and project-management skills, with a focus on cost savings and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 2–5 years of indirect procurement experience (CAPEX, Services, MRO).
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Project management skills; construction procurement experience is a plus.
• Ability to navigate a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage source-to-pay and procure-to-pay cycles including RFx, contract review, PO execution, and invoice coordination.
• Perform pricing comparisons and RFx activities in the procurement system per policy.
• Meet KPIs for cost savings, service levels, and on-time payments.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, contracts, and long-term agreements with suppliers.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities via pricing comparisons and negotiations.
• Coordinate acceptance with end users to ensure timely payments per terms.
• Create new material codes, vendor onboarding, and CMS contract reviews.
• Review agreements and SOWs with legal to ensure policy alignment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide procurement guidance.
• Lead procurement process trainings for end users.
