Job summary

CDW is seeking a Consulting Solution Architect to drive hybrid infrastructure solutions for Federal and State & Local customers. This field-based role partners with customers, delivery, and internal sales to grow CDW's hybrid infrastructure services business and act as a trusted advisor.

Responsibilities include crafting architectural solutions, creating BOMs, drafting SOWs, and maintaining strategic partner relationships while earning a base salary with bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 7+ years in technical, pre-sales, or post-sale delivery OR 11+ years in those roles.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including customers, delivery, and internal sales.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with a customer-centric mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop assessment and service solutions for CDW customers, including architecture, optimizations, health checks, deployment and advisory services.
• Collaborate with customers, delivery teams, and internal sales to offer guidance, plan sales strategy, and author statements of work (SOWs).
• Build configurations/BOMs for servers, storage, backup, virtualization, cloud, AI, and related technologies to meet customer requirements.
• Analyze technical and competitive considerations to meet customer goals in the sales cycle and craft end-to-end solutions.
• Maintain strategic relationships with customers, internal sales and delivery management to drive business growth.
• Maintain relationships with key strategic partners by keeping at least 5 partner certifications.
• Grow influence in assigned territory through engagement with vendors/partners/customers as a strategic advisor.
• Act as a subject matter expert across multiple product families and contribute to marketing activities (LinkedIn, blogs, online mags).
• Drive outreach, enablement projects, and mentorship for other SAs and field sellers.
• Mentor and coach solution architects on best practices for engaging with colleagues and customers.
