Job summary

CDW is seeking an experienced solutions architect to lead hybrid infrastructure engagements, align solutions with client business goals, and drive cross‑functional collaboration. You will author SOWs and responses for RFPs/RFIs, design scalable architectures, and mentor delivery teams.

The role requires strong executive communication, a deep domain knowledge across infrastructure technologies, and the ability to influence at senior levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in a technical, pre‑/post‑sales or delivery role.
• Must be self‑starter and capable of high‑quality work with minimal guidance.
• Deep knowledge of Hybrid Infrastructure, architecture, products and solutions.
• Ability to lead technical discussions across cross‑functional teams.
• Strong customer‑facing skills and effective communication/presentation.
• Ability to design complex solutions aligned to business outcomes.
• Proven mentoring and influence across technical teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to operate at executive levels and influence decisions.
• Significant Federal or State & Local background supporting those customers.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% or as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex sales engagements, including authoring SOWs, proposals, and technical responses for RFPs/RFIs.
• Build configurations/BOMs to meet customer requirements.
• Lead architectural visioning sessions and executive‑level discussions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance solution offerings and services.
• Drive technical enablement and mentoring for Solution Architects and technical teams.
• Support business development initiatives and contribute to go‑to‑market strategies.
• Acquire and maintain relevant technology and industry certifications.
