Job summary

CDW is seeking a Principal Solution Architect to develop complex Hybrid Infrastructure solutions for CDW customers. This field-based pre-sales role partners with customers, sales, and delivery teams to enable growth, innovation, and long-term success.

You will lead architecture discussions, author SOWs and proposals, mentor Solution Architects, and drive go-to-market initiatives across cross-functional teams. A strong background in Hybrid Infrastructure and executive communication is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in a technical, pre-sales, or post-sale delivery role OR 14+ years of experience in a technical, pre-sales, or post-sale delivery role.
• Strong industry knowledge across Hybrid Infrastructure, architecture, products, and solutions.
• Ability to communicate complex solutions and lead technical discussions.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive Hybrid Infrastructure solutions, including architecture and advisory services.
• Lead complex sales engagements and author SOWs, proposals, and responses for RFPs/RFIs.
• Analyze technical considerations to design scalable solutions aligned to customer needs.
• Build strategic relationships with customers, sales, and delivery leadership.
• Lead architectural visioning sessions and exec-level discussions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance solution offerings.
• Drive technical enablement and mentoring for Solution Architects.
• Support business development and contribute to go-to-market strategies.
• Acquire and maintain relevant technology and industry certifications.
