Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Estimator to serve as the primary procurement contact for a branch office. You will develop accurate installation cost models and lead subcontractor selection through supplier development, contract management, and price negotiations.

Responsibilities include coordinating procurement activities, aligning supply chain strategies for branch offices, and ensuring compliance with BOS and DoA requirements. Travel about 10% is expected.

Qualifications

Electrical industry experience or a bachelor’s degree.
Experience in building systems or operational processes.
Strong procurement and cost analysis knowledge.
Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

Lead installation cost models for projects with HVAC focus.
Develop subcontractor pricing and identify 3rd party suppliers.
Coordinate procurement activities and ensure BOS/DoA compliance.
Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal customers.
Partner with Sales during project development to own subcontract installation pricing.
Review project documents and ensure contract provisions for subs.
