Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Commercial HVAC Estimator to lead the relationship between field offices and suppliers and develop accurate installation cost models for projects. You will manage subcontractor selection, pricing, and collaboration with the Sales organization to deliver precise budgets.

The role requires electrical or mechanical controls experience, strong MS Office skills, and 5–8+ years of project management with estimating in HVAC controls construction.

Qualifications

• Electrical industry experience or bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in building systems or operational processes.
• Strong communication with sales and team settings.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead subcontractor installation pricing with Sales during project development.
• Determine subcontractor strategy and source all 3rd party quotes.
• Review project SOW and ensure subcontractor provisions in contracts.
• Develop, host, and review all RFPs and manage supplier relations.
