Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc is seeking a Commercial HVAC Estimator to serve as the main procurement contact for the branch, developing accurate installation cost models and coordinating with the HVAC controls sales organization. The role focuses on subcontractor selection, pricing, and supplier relationships to optimize working capital.

Responsibilities include pricing, RFP development, and ensuring contract provisions with subcontractors, while leveraging estimating tools and project

Qualifications

• Electrical industry equivalent experience or bachelor’s degree.
• 5–8+ years as a project manager with estimating experience in HVAC controls construction or trades.
• Procurement experience with cost analysis and financial knowledge.
• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project skills.
• English required; multilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales during project development to own Subcon Installation pricing.
• Determine Subcontractor Strategy and review SOW for subcontractor requirements.
• Develop baseline Subcontractor Installation Pricing using estimating tools.
• Source all 3rd party Sub Quotes and review customer documents for contract provisions.
• Develop, host and review all RFPs and maintain supplier relationships.
