Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Head of Business Development for HVAC to own our largest multi-location deals, from first meeting to signed contract. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, focused on strategic HVAC groups across multiple locations.

You will close high-value opportunities within 3 to 12 months, working with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders. One win spans locations and opens the door to expansion.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of closing $1M+ annually on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Experience selling to HVAC groups or multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with multiple decision makers.
• Would rather close business than manage people.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from discovery to close, typically 3–12 months.
• Negotiate with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders at the table.
• Drive expansion to more locations and services after signing a group.
• Build proposals with strategists and leadership for the key deals.
