Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Hunter Inside Sales Representative to drive new business within our Commercial segment. You will own a territory of ~500 accounts, focusing on whitespace opportunities and strategic prospecting to position our Search, Observability, and AI solutions across large commercial clients.

Crafting a proactive territory strategy, collaborating across teams, and effectively negotiating terms will be key.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience in hunting or creating new accounts.
• Ability to plan and execute pipeline strategies in whitespace accounts.
• Collaborative and inventive problem-solver.
• Self-starter ready to thrive in a fast-growing environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and build a territory plan for ~500 accounts you own in a defined territory.
• Focus entirely on whitespace accounts.
• Create a strategic prospecting strategy to gain introductions and position Elastic technologies.
• Identify and qualify new opportunities using inbound leads, your network, and partners.
• Collaborate with sales development, marketing, partners, product, and customer service teams to drive results.
• Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to close deals.
• Accurately forecast territory performance and required resources per our sales process.
