Job summary

Ourvita is seeking a Senior Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager to lead the HSE strategy across U.S. operations, protecting employees and advancing environmental stewardship. You will partner with executives and site leaders to embed HSE into planning and decision-making.

The role requires a strong track record in regulated manufacturing, risk management, and building a proactive safety culture while enabling growth and high performance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental science, engineering, industrial hygiene, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years progressive HSE experience with leadership across multiple sites.
• Demonstrated success developing and implementing HSE strategy, leading compliance and risk management programs, and improving performance across locations.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food, chemical, or another regulated manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
• Experience partnering with executive and operational leadership to reduce risk, improve safety culture, and support business performance.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable federal, state, and local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and governance for HSE programs across multiple U.S. facilities and support functions.
• Develop and execute HSE strategies, standards, annual objectives, and KPIs aligned with priorities.
• Serve as trusted advisor to executives by evaluating HSE risks and integrating considerations into planning and decision-making.
• Champion a proactive safety culture by establishing clear expectations and accountability.
• Establish and monitor leading and lagging indicators using dashboards and site comparisons.
• Lead the design and delivery of HSE training, leadership development, and competency programs.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, maintenance, quality, supply chain, and People & Culture to integrate HSE into change management and projects.
• Represent the company with regulatory agencies, emergency response organizations, industry associations, and auditors.
