Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead site-wide safety, environmental, and sustainability initiatives at a large Oregon manufacturing facility.

You will drive proactive safety culture, manage regulatory compliance with OSHA/EPA, and develop a high-performing HSE team in a visible leadership role. This on-site, permanent position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• 8–12+ years of progressive HSE experience in manufacturing or similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Proven track record leading safety and environmental programs.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and training skills.
• Hands-on leadership style balancing long-term strategy with day-to-day needs.
• Ability to build teams and drive accountability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site’s overall HSE strategy, programs, initiatives, and performance goals.
• Drive proactive incident-prevention culture to protect workers and improve safety.
• Establish leading and lagging safety metrics and track incident rates.
• Oversee energy control/LOTO, audits, corrective actions, and safety systems.
• Partner with operations to identify risks and implement practical solutions.
• Develop a high-performing HSE team and mentor future leaders.
