GE Vernova seeks an experienced Site EHS Leader to direct environmental, health, and safety operations for an 800+ employee facility in the United States. You will shape the EHS vision, mentor the team, and partner with cross‑functional leaders to foster a world‑class safety culture.

The role blends hands‑on operations with strategic influence to drive sustainable EHS outcomes in a manufacturing/service environment, including regulatory compliance, program implementation, and audit activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible EHS leadership experience in a large‑scale manufacturing or industrial facility.
• Proven experience as a 1st or 2nd line manager with direct reports.

Responsabilités

• Lead, mentor, and provide work direction to the site EHS team, ensuring high performance and clear goal alignment.
• Develop and execute a site‑specific EHS roadmap and integrate EHS into daily business processes.
• Oversee development and execution of robust EHS programs including emergency preparedness, fire protection, risk assessments, hazardous waste management, ergonomics, contractor safety, and crisis management.
• Ensure full regulatory compliance with corporate, federal, state, and local requirements and manage permits.
• Develop and lead injury prevention initiatives and translate data into actionable improvements.
• Partner with Facilities/Operations to identify safety-critical equipment and establish preventive maintenance plans.
• Design and deliver training plans to align 800+ employees and contractors with safety rules.
• Conduct regular compliance and framework audits to minimize risk and drive continuous improvement.
• Own and manage site Sustainability programs and Site Security.
