Job summary

Lakeside HR Group seeks an HR Business Partner / Benefits Administrator to join a growing, community-focused client in West St. Paul. This hybrid role bridges senior leadership, operations, and human resources to strengthen workforce effectiveness.

You will advise on employee relations, workforce planning, benefits administration, policy compliance, HRIS data integrity, and open enrollment communications, partnering with leadership and Talent Acquisition as needed.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of HR experience and advising business leaders.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, HRIS, compensation, and benefits.
• Ability to analyze data and report on workforce metrics.
• Experience leading benefits rollout and open enrollment communications.
• Experience consulting with senior leadership on workforce planning and organizational design.
• Ability to partner with Talent Acquisition and HR leadership on staffing.

Responsibilities

• Coach leaders through employee relations, conflicts, performance management, and PIPs.
• Strengthen relationships, morale, and retention.
• Support workforce planning, organizational design, and talent optimization with senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and update policies to reduce risk.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and review recruiting metrics.
• Advise on benefit plan selections, enrollment, renewals, and total rewards alignment.
• Manage annual open enrollment communications and respond to escalated benefits questions.
• Use HR analytics to monitor turnover and HRIS data integrity.
• Maintain HRIS data for promotions, transfers, terminations, and other changes.
