Job summary

Lakeside HR Group is seeking a hands‑on Human Resources Manager to lead day‑to‑day HR functions in Stillwater. You will drive recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits, and transitions, while strengthening policies and processes aligned with business needs.

You will partner with leadership to identify gaps, implement practical solutions, and coach leaders through change. This onsite role demands discretion, collaboration, and a strong customer focus to support

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience with broad generalist exposure across multiple areas of HR.
• Experience independently owning an HR function, program, or significant initiative. Prior HR Manager experience is preferred but not required.
• Solid working knowledge of HR fundamentals, including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, benefits, and employment compliance.
• Experience developing, coordinating, or delivering employee training.
• Experience implementing and administering a learning management system (LMS).
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information and navigate sensitive conversations with professionalism and discretion.
• Availability to work onsite in Stillwater five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day HR activities across recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and employee transitions.
• Maintain clear, practical HR policies, accurate employee records, and consistent processes that support business needs and applicable employment requirements.
• Serve as a trusted resource for employees and leaders, handling sensitive matters with discretion, fairness, and timely follow‑through.
• Identify gaps, recommend improvements, and manage implementation from planning through completion.
• Partner with leadership to prioritize HR needs and translate recommendations into actionable plans; measure progress and adjust as organization evolves.
