Job summary

Sunward Federal Credit Union is seeking an HR Programs Partner to administer the performance management cycle, own leave administration, and interpret HR practices and employment law for managers.

Under the Director of Talent & Performance Management, you will exercise independent judgment on complex cases, coach leadership on feedback, and drive improvements across HR programs including succession planning and leadership development.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of progressive HR experience in performance management administration, HR program support, or leave administration.
• Experience with HRIS (Paylocity a plus).
• Practical experience using AI tools for drafting, summarizing, or organizing information, and the judgment to keep confidential employee information out of them.
• Credit union or financial services experience is a plus, not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Administer the performance cycle within the approved framework and timeline; launch phases, monitor progress, and keep goals and reviews on schedule.
• Coach managers on feedback, translating priorities into measurable deliverables.
• Lead leave and accommodation processes, including FMLA and ADA accommodations, and guide return-to-work decisions.
• Support succession planning and leadership development with readiness data and training.
• Improve HR processes and SOPs; contribute to HR initiatives and cross-department projects.
• Maintain career path and internal mobility documentation and support talent reviews.
