Virginia Commonwealth University Health is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to provide comprehensive HR consultation to align workforce strategy with organizational goals. You will partner with leaders and HR Centers of Expertise to drive talent management, performance, and organizational transformation in a highly matrixed health system.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or closely related field.
Master's degree in Human Resources, Business, or closely related field is preferred.
Combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
Minimum 5 years HR experience with at least 3 years in an HR generalist capacity.

Responsibilities

Strategic consulting and workforce planning for assigned client group(s).
Provide analytics, insights, and recommendations on talent, leadership, and capability.
Coach and counsel client leaders on performance issues and development.
Advise business units on HR policy interpretation and risk mitigation.
Partner with HR COEs to design and implement engagement initiatives.
Apply knowledge of HR laws and regulations to employment practices.
Act as change agent to influence organizational culture and performance.
