Job summary

PTA Plastics is seeking an HR Business Partner (HRBP) to deliver strategic HR support across our Pittsburgh region with 50% travel to US and Canada facilities. The role requires strong manufacturing experience and partnership with plant leaders on workforce planning, employee relations, and training initiatives.

You will drive HR programs, ensure compliance with labor laws, and help optimize performance management, compensation, and talent development across the region.

Qualifications

• University or college degree in Human Resources.
• 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong manufacturing/industrial background.
• HR designation achieved or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Plant Managers and Leaders to provide coaching and strategic HR advice.
• Develop monthly HR dashboards and provide data-driven insights at plant level.
• Manage HR policies, processes, and Dayforce queries for employees and managers.
• Lead employee relations issues, investigations, and disciplinary recommendations.
• Maintain accurate HRIS data and payroll trackers; document and communicate changes.
