Job summary

LEE Industries seeks a Human Resources Business Partner to collaborate with the HR Manager and provide HR support across assigned business units and plant locations in Conover, NC. The role ensures policy consistency, regulatory compliance, and effective people management.

The HRBP will lead recruitment, maintain job descriptions, manage HR data in HRIS/payroll, and advise leadership on HR plans while supporting Open Enrollment and employee engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university.
• At least five years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist or HRBP capacity.
• Experience in manufacturing or operations environment preferred; strong attendance management and shift support knowledge.
• PHR or SPHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the HR Manager to execute HR initiatives, maintain compliance, and provide guidance on day-to-day people matters.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: postings, screening, interviews, offers, and pre-employment activities.
• Develop and maintain accurate job descriptions reflecting responsibilities and business needs.
• Maintain employee data in HRIS and payroll systems with timely updates.
• Ensure supervisors review and approve timecards by payroll deadlines and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide translation/interpretation support for effective workplace communication.
• Support Open Enrollment and respond to benefits/compensation inquiries.
• Assist with HR training, orientation, and employee engagement activities.
