Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of employee relations or HR business partner experience.
• Valid CA Class C Driver’s license with no violations.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local labor laws.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the HR point of contact for managers and respond to HR inquiries.
• Investigate employee relations matters by gathering facts and conducting investigations.
• Draft and implement HR policies and disciplinary procedures.
• Communicate policy updates and HR initiatives to management.
• Advise managers on performance management and corrective actions.
• Train new supervisors and managers on HR processes and workflows.
• Manage performance evaluation processes and scheduling.
• Develop programs to promote employee engagement and reduce turnover.
• Conduct employee surveys or exit interviews and report findings.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee records and sensitive information.
• Attend clinic meetings to deliver HR updates and provide support to managers.
• Provide HRIS system support and participate in HR projects.
• Perform other duties as required.
