Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in employee relations or HR business partner experience.
• Valid CA Class C driver's license.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local labor laws.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Act as HR point of contact for managers and respond to inquiries.
• Investigate employee relations matters and document concerns.
• Draft and implement HR policies and disciplinary procedures.
• Communicate policy updates and HR initiatives to management.
• Advise on performance management and difficult conversations.
• Train supervisors and managers on HR processes.
• Manage performance evaluation processes and track goals.
• Develop programs to promote engagement and reduce turnover.
• Conduct employee surveys, focus groups, or exit interviews.
• Ensure adherence to labor laws and maintain confidentiality.
• Visit in-person clinics for manager support and HR updates.
• Provide HRIS system support and participate in projects.
