Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in Thomasville, GA seeks an HR Business Partner I to serve as the corporate HR strategic advisor. You will deploy HR strategies, manage policies, compensation, training and employee relations, and advocate for both the company and its people.

You will forecast business needs from an HR perspective, partner with Talent Management, oversee onboarding, retention and development, and drive change across areas to enhance performance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressive human resources experience.
• Ability to operate with a high degree of freedom within corporate policies.

Responsibilities

• Directs the execution of HR policies, procedures, and programs within area of responsibility.
• Provides general supervision for personnel administration, wage and salary administration, management training and development, safety, benefits administration, and employee communications.
• Actively promotes Flowers Foods corporate values and culture.
• Partners with corporate leadership as the HR strategic advisor for the campus.
• Develops trusted advisor relationships with functional leadership and provides people-focused guidance for decisions.
• Facilitates building of strategic talent pipelines through recruiting, development, performance management and leadership development.
