Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in Newton, NC is seeking an HR Generalist to support human resources functions, including policies, benefits, safety, compensation, training and employee relations.

Under the direction of the HR Business Partner, you will assist with personnel administration, wage and salary administration, safety, benefits, communications and staffing, with potential for growth toward HRBP roles. A four-year degree in HR or related field is required; a competitive salary and total rewards

Qualifications

• Three or more years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience with HRIS, payroll, and MS Office applications.
• Experience supporting employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, attendance management, and HR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand the company's HR policies, procedures and programs.
• Assist with personnel administration, wage and salary administration, safety, benefits administration, employee communications, staffing, legal compliance and employee relations.
• Develop skills toward future HRBP responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to EEO, Harassment, Safety, and SOX policies.
