Job summary

Flowers Foods is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team. The role is remote with up to 25% travel and focuses on employee relations, policy compliance, and collaborating with management to support a growing workforce.

You will resolve employee relations issues, advise managers on policies, conduct interviews, coordinate leaves, and help drive HR projects while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in employee relations or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or equivalent experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Spanish.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate with tact and diplomacy.
• Ability to influence others on policies, practices, and procedures.
• Effective at capturing and synthesizing information from multiple parties.
• Solid understanding of employment laws.
• Ability to handle sensitive and highly personal information daily and maintain confidentiality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with case management technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolve general employee relations issues and advise leadership at all levels.
• Provide consultation to managers on policies and compliance regarding employment-related matters.
• Investigate and resolve employee complaints and concerns about employment practices.
• Conduct interviews and prepare relevant documentation using investigation guidelines.
• Coordinate leave of absence cases and ensure compliance with policies and laws.
• Interact with internal and external resources to gather information and drive tasks to completion.
• Review dashboard metrics daily to optimize efficiency and SLAs.
• Assist with HR projects and audit SharePoint site for currency and accessibility.
