Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking an Assistant HRBP to support plant leadership through HR policy execution, employee relations, and workforce development.

The role partners with HRBP and Talent Management to deliver learning opportunities and succession planning while upholding safety, legality, and quality standards. You will promote Flowers Foods' values, maintain HR records, and help manage onboarding, recruitment, and performance processes within corporate guidelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years progressive human resources experience.
• Ability to operate with a very high degree of freedom within the frame work of recommended corporate policies.

Responsibilities

• Execute HR policies, wage and salary administration, training, and employee relations.
• Promote Flowers Foods values and culture.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with plant leadership and provide people context for business decisions.
• Develop strategic talent pipeline through recruiting, talent development, performance management, and leadership development strategies.
• Interpret HR policies and approve exceptions within delegated authority and escalate those outside authority to regional HRBPs.
• Lead changes for HR programs and monitor results; maintain and file HR records and onboarding processes.
