Michaels (The Michaels Companies Inc.) is seeking an HR Manager to partner with our Irving, Texas corporate leaders and drive people-focused initiatives across performance management, organizational design, training and development, succession planning, and engagement.

You will assess business needs, lead HR programs, and support leaders from entry to executive levels while ensuring compliance and upholding Michaels values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required.
• 5+ years experience in HR Generalist or HR Leadership role.

Responsibilities

• HR Business Partnering with respective business leaders to improve team performance.
• Lead succession planning programs including talent reviews, bench planning, and high potential development.
• Partner with leadership on organization design and job descriptions.
• Provide guidance on performance management, appraisals, and calibration across the department.
