The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking an HR Specialist - Field in Irving, TX to support HR administration and company processes under the Division HR Director. This role works closely with the HR Director and HR Business Partner to ensure compliance and effective HR operations across stores.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of administrative experience, proficiency with Workday and Microsoft Office, and strong communication skills. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• 2 years Administrative or relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of employment law and regulations; up to 10% travel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR administration and support company processes.
• Serve as subject matter expert of Workday and policies.
• Process Workday transactions and audits; resolve issues.
• Facilitate exit interviews and analyze retention data.
• Back-up HRBP-field and support store leadership on HR processes.
