Ridgemont Resources, Inc. in Mason City, Iowa is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee HR and office functions, administer policies, and develop local programs addressing employment relations, compensation, benefits, safety, and training.

The role requires leading HR staff, ensuring a union-free environment, managing payroll and wage administration, and maintaining records while liaising with executives on major people issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in HR or related field.
• 5 to 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• Specialized training in employment law, compensation, employee relations, safety, and training preferred.
• Must communicate clearly orally and in writing.
• Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Applications - Word, Excel, Outlook, and PPT.

Responsabilités

• Direct employment activities and ensure timely recruitment of qualified employees.
• Ensure policies and programs are understood and administered consistently; communicate to all employees.
• Oversee HR programs through HR staff and monitor welfare plans and documentation.
• Administer wage and salary administration and performance appraisal programs; review wage ranges.
• Oversee payroll processing on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
• Review and approve management recommendations for terminations.
• Prepare and maintain records and reports for HR functions.
• Inform executives of significant problems affecting company goals and line management issues.
• Develop and supervise training programs; conduct supervisory training as needed.
• Lead the implementation of safety and health programs and OSHA data tracking.
• Act as liaison between the company and laws/regulations (OSHA, Wage-Hour, ERISA, etc.).
• Conduct investigations when employee complaints arise.
• Manage employee communications and feedback through meetings, surveys, newsletters, and forums.
• Develop and administer programs for employee communications and community relations.
